Expiration and Recall Management

Recalls from manufacturers are often identified by the lot or serial numbers printed on the product packaging.  Separating out and pulling only the affected lots or serial numbers is a laborious and error-prone task where each affected product must be located in the hospital.  Without a centralized repository of product lot and serial numbers, this task becomes extremely onerous, costly and error prone.
