RFID Smart Cabinets

WaveMark’s RFID Smart Cabinets allow real-time tracking of hospital inventory as part of the WaveMark Real-time Hospital Visibility solution. Suppliers can see what they have on location at the hospital and are able to minimize counting and audit work done by the sales representative.  This is because the cabinet does the entire inventory counting and reporting for the suppliers. 

WaveMark offers standard and custom RFID Smart Cabinets. Over 500 configuration options available allow for a single cabinet to be configured with a combination of regular boxed product storage shelves, hanging product storage, doors, drawers, and splitter shelves as needed to effectively store and track supplies. This level of storage flexibility supports a better clinical workflow and addresses the challenge of space limitations in busy procedural areas. An example of this is a cabinet that allows for storage of guide wires on the top shelf with the guide catheters hanging below the top shelf. Complemented with a standard 5-shelf RFID Smart Cabinet, a procedure room is now fully equipped to support peripheral and coronary intervention inventory needs.

The cabinet takes 20,000 full inventory counts per year.
